Facial Fat Grafting
Description: A surgical procedure designed to harvest the patient's own body fat and then administer the fat as facial filler to the patient's face resulting in a more youthful look through reduced wrinkles and rejuvenation of sunken areas by enhancing soft-tissue volume.
Anesthesia: Procedure may be performed under general anesthesia or a local with sedation depending on patient preference.
Surgery & Recovery: Length of procedure will range from one to two hours. Patient will return to work within three to five days.
Results: Outcome varies depending on the amount of injected fat that is able to obtain a blood supply. To maintain achieved result, patient may have to return for additional treatments.
Complications & Risks: Possible infection, skin lumpiness, or complications to anesthesia.
