Using the Sciton ClearScan laser, Dr. Guanciale can quickly remove unsightly and unwanted hair with an infrared laser that selectively targets the hair follicles and heats them with the infrared energy.  What makes this hair removal treatment different than many others … the laser beam is able to treat many hairs at one time!  The ClearScan laser uses a computer guided scanning system that automates treatment to ensure the entire areas is treated at the proper level.   The infrared energy of this laser is even able to penetrate deep to eliminate in-grown hairs. 

Most patients require 3 to 5 treatments with each treatment at an interval of 3 to 8 weeks depending on the individuals hair growth pattern.  After a treatment, patients may experience some redness and possible swelling, but this will only last a few hours, at  most.
